London has an excellent system of buses, overground trains, underground trains (tube trains) and river buses.
To use the buses and tubes buy an Oyster Card, it is the cheapest way to travel.
For walk start and finish points take the 'Tube'. The oldest and 2nd largest underground railway network in the world.
